Current turn around on orders is 1 - 3 business days provided I have all of the correct information to complete your print design.

All orders within the United Kingdom are sent via royal mail first class. Orders over £50 are set tracked 24 as standard.

International orders are sent tracked with Royal mail who will pass the item onto your local mail provider for delivery.

Prints and postcards are sent wrapped in compostable cello bags, larger A3 prints are sent rolled in tubes. All packaging is plastic free.

Hey there, I’m Jo, the heart and hands behind Dolly and Fred! What started as a simple love for design and decorating my own children’s rooms has grown into a colourful journey of creating wall art prints for children that inspire joy and creativity.

At Dolly and Fred, we believe in the power of bold, bright spaces that spark imagination, conversation, and learning. Every print I create is thoughtfully designed to bring positivity into children’s rooms, with cheerful colours and affirmations to make them smile.

The Journey So Far…

Back in 2019, I started this adventure by opening my Etsy shop, filled with vibrant, child-friendly wall art. My prints caught the eyes of families looking to bring a little extra magic to their children's rooms, and since then, I’ve had the pleasure of selling to over 4,000 customers around the world.

As my designs started finding homes, I saw the impact of simple, engaging decor on children’s development and family life. With a background in childcare and a degree in child development, I wanted my artwork to go beyond decoration. I wanted it to help children build their language and spark conversations that bring families closer together.

Expanding into Stationery for Children

In 2023, I took a leap and expanded Dolly and Fred beyond just wall art prints for children—I launched a brand-new line of eco-friendly stationery. Just like with my prints, my stationery is designed to encourage creativity and learning, offering kids a way to express themselves through writing and drawing.

From postcards to writing sets, everything is created with the same bold, playful style that Dolly and Fred is known for.

My Passion and Inspiration

Whether it’s a fun art print for a child’s bedroom or a playful writing set, my aim is always the same: to create beautiful, meaningful products that parents and kids love. I draw inspiration from the world around me, especially nature, and am always on the lookout for fresh ideas to keep things exciting and new.

Even though my work started as a hobby, I’ve taken every opportunity to grow and learn as a designer. Over the years, I’ve completed several courses, including the 'Designer in a Year' program with Make it in Design and I’m a proud member of the Creative Powerhouse Society. These experiences have helped me refine my style and continue delivering designs that truly stand out.

Looking Forward

As Dolly and Fred continues to grow, so does my vision for the future. I’ve begun working on pattern design and expanding my portfolio, with dreams of seeing my work featured in even more homes and businesses. Stay tuned as I bring even more exciting, creative products to life!
