What Makes This Advent Journal Special?

It follows the traditional Advent themes - Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, and Jesus
Each week focuses on one of these beautiful themes, with carefully chosen Bible verses and age-appropriate prayers that help children understand what each word really means.

It's designed for real children, not perfect ones
The prayer prompts are gentle and open-ended. There are no "wrong answers." God loves hearing from your child exactly as they are - wobbly handwriting, honest thoughts, and all.

It combines prayer with creativity
Every single day includes space to draw, colour, or doodle. Because some children pray best with a pencil in their hand, and some thoughts are easier to draw than write.

It creates a family tradition
Use it together at breakfast, bedtime, or whenever works for your family. There's no "perfect time" - just consistent time together with God.

It builds week by week
Weekly reflection pages help children look back and see how they've grown closer to Jesus. By Christmas Day, they'll have created something precious - a record of their Advent journey.

It ends with celebration
The final page is a beautiful completion certificate they can sign and keep forever. "I prayed for 25 days" is something worth celebrating!

How It Works

Week 1: HOPE (December 1st-7th)
Children learn that hope means trusting God has good plans. They explore what gives them hope and how to wait with patience for Jesus's birthday.

Week 2: PEACE (December 8th-14th)
Peace isn't just being quiet - it's God's calm in their hearts. They discover how to be peacemakers and find peace even when things are chaotic (like December always is!).

Week 3: JOY (December 15th-21st)
Joy means celebrating Jesus no matter what. They learn the difference between happiness (which comes and goes) and joy (which stays because Jesus is here).

Week 4: LOVE (December 22nd-24th)
Love is showing others how much God cares. As Christmas approaches, they explore how to love like Jesus loves them.

Week 5: JESUS (December 25th)
Christmas Day! The culmination of the journey - celebrating that Jesus is finally here.
